How long does setup take?

Most teams are operational within a day. Create your warehouse, add storage locations (manually or by bulk-pattern), import your SKUs and customers from CSV, and start booking stock in.

Do you charge per client portal user?

Accepted Answer

No. Your clients' portal users are unlimited within the customer count of your plan. Only your staff seats are charged.

What hardware do I need?

None to get started — phones with cameras work for scanning. For higher throughput we recommend a HID-compatible USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner. Any thermal or laser label printer that accepts standard formats works for asset and location labels.

Can I import existing stock?

Yes. Inventory, SKUs, sites and customers all support CSV import on Starter and above. We provide templates and validation. The free tier is intended for small operations and doesn't include bulk import.

What happens at the end of the trial?

Every new account starts with a 14-day full trial of the Scale plan. When it ends, you're auto-downgraded to Free. Your data stays exactly where it is — you'll just lose access to features and capacity above the Free limits until you upgrade.

How is my data isolated from other tenants?

Every table is governed by Row-Level Security tied to your organisation. Your data is never visible to another customer of StockSphere — even at the database layer, the wrong query simply returns nothing.

Can I export my data if I leave?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Inventory, shipments, customers and reports all export to CSV. On request we'll provide a full data export in machine-readable form.

Do you support self-hosting?

We offer managed cloud hosting by default. For Enterprise customers with strict data residency requirements, we'll discuss managed dedicated deployments.

Do you do custom development?
